Eulogies Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Well beyond 14 days after the tragic deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the couple.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, stated he finally felt ready to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has gone by that I can now articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner left him smitten. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the production, adding that he could not remember "any day without joy".

"The movie is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob valued immensely. Which is among the many reasons he was the best person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "To say that they were a incredible duo would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He ended with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Colleague and Comrade

In a different piece, revered director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was very funny and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the main character.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he comprehended the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese noted.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Sealed

Recently, a Los Angeles court official agreed to bar the release of the Reiners' autopsy reports, at the request from the LAPD.

A court order put a security hold on the investigation to prohibit the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of foul play, with a public database listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the deaths, public figures shared different reactions.

Former President Donald Trump posted on the matter, making controversial statements that were widely condemned by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his criticism to the critics recently. Speaking on his show, Rogan labeled the comments as "disappointing" and remarked they showed a worrisome lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by suggesting that an aide could have intervened when the choice to comment on the death was made.
