A devastating detonation at a police station in Indian-administered Kashmir has caused the deaths of nine persons and harm to thirty-two additional people, according to official statements.

The blast took place on the evening of Friday at the Nowgam law enforcement facility, where detonation agents confiscated in Faridabad region in the northern state of Haryana state were being held provisionally.
Area police chief stated that the blast materials were scheduled for forensic examination when a "very unfortunate" mishap during management resulted in their blast at approximately 23:20 local time.

Numerous cars were "covered in blaze and turned into burned shells, with fragments distributed across the site," according to official reports.
